Do I need an account or an internet connection? +
No account is needed. Adding cards, text recognition, viewing and searching all happen on device. Internet access is needed only for iCloud sync and Apple Wallet pass generation.
Does it support iCloud sync? +
Yes, and it is off by default. Once you turn it on, data syncs across devices using the same Apple Account and is encrypted on device before upload. Deletions sync too, so sync is not a backup.
What is the difference between Free and Pro? +
The free version supports up to five counted cards. Pro unlocks unlimited cards, Home Screen widgets and Apple Wallet pass generation. Existing cards are not deleted when Pro expires.
Can it replace physical IDs, payment or access cards? +
No. CardPouch is for organizing and looking up your own records. It does not replace physical credentials or provide payments, NFC access-card emulation or official identity verification.
Can I recover a deleted card? +
Deleted cards are normally kept in Recently Deleted for 30 days and can be restored during that time, or permanently deleted manually. Afterward, they are removed when the app runs its cleanup.

Which devices are supported? +
Recent iPhone models running a current iOS version — see the App Store page for exact requirements.
Does it collect my location data? +
No. Data is stored only on your device by default — no ads, no third-party analytics, no cross-app tracking.
Can it sync across multiple devices? +
You can optionally turn on iCloud sync to sync your records across your own devices.
PasteNote
Is my data uploaded anywhere? +
Nothing is uploaded to the developer’s servers. Data is stored on your Mac by default; if you turn on iCloud sync, it syncs to your own iCloud account.
Does it support iCloud sync? +
Yes, off by default. Turn it on in Preferences → General, then restart PasteNote for the change to take effect. Sync goes through Apple iCloud, not the developer’s servers.
How can I get it now? +
PasteNote is now available on the Mac App Store. Download it from the store to get started.
Does it need any system permissions? +
Selecting a history item writes it back to the system clipboard for you to paste manually in the destination app. The App does not request or use Accessibility access or simulate paste keystrokes. Only the optional Sequential Paste asks for Input Monitoring permission, to recognize the ⌘V you press; without it, clipboard history and manual copying still work.
