PasteNote
Clipboard Manager · Sticky Notes · On-Device Recognition
PasteNote is a Mac clipboard manager: it automatically records text, links, files, and images, with instant recall via ⌘1–9 and support for search and categorization. You can also pin content as desktop sticky notes, recognize text and QR codes in images on-device, lock sensitive content, and organize by app — all data stays on your Mac, with no network access and no uploads.
Desktop Notes · Image Annotation
Pin content to your desktop so it stays visible; screenshots can be annotated directly, so you never have to switch apps to explain a bug.
On-Device Text & QR Recognition
Text and QR codes in images are recognized automatically and become searchable.
Per-App Workspaces
Switch apps and you see the copy history relevant to that app.
Favorites & Organization
Favorite the content you use often so your history never gets messy.
Privacy Commitment
PasteNote runs in an app sandbox, and all processing happens on-device. We collect no data — your content always belongs only to you.
FAQ
Is my data uploaded anywhere? +
No. All clipboard and note data is stored on your own Mac.
How can I get it now? +
PasteNote is now available on the Mac App Store. Download it from the store to get started.
Does it need any system permissions? +
No Accessibility permission required. ⌘1–9 simply writes content back to the system clipboard — you paste it yourself with ⌘V; PasteNote never simulates keystrokes on your behalf.
