Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to PasteNote (the "App"), developed by CoderChan (the "Developer"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
License Grant
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, the Developer grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service.
Restrictions
You agree not to:
- reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, or attempt to derive its source code (except as expressly permitted by law);
- copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App;
- use the App for any unlawful or infringing activity or in violation of third-party rights;
- use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the App or related services.
Your Content and Data
- The App is designed to manage your own clipboard content and notes. You are solely responsible for all content processed through the App.
- By default, your data is stored only on your device; if you turn on iCloud sync, your data syncs across your own devices via your Apple ID. See the Privacy Policy for details.
- You are responsible for backing up your important data.
Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and intellectual property in and to the App and its content, features, and interface (excluding data you create) are owned by the Developer and protected by applicable law. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
Disclaimer
The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The Developer does not warrant that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that it will meet your specific requirements.
The Developer is not liable for any loss or corruption of clipboard content or note data; please keep your own backups.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including loss of data or profits) arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App.
Third-Party Services
The App does not rely on any third-party online service to store your data. To generate link previews, the App may request publicly available information (such as title and thumbnail) from URLs you have copied.
Changes to These Terms
The Developer may revise these Terms from time to time. The revised "Effective Date" will be updated at the top and posted on this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Termination
The Developer may terminate the license granted to you at any time if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.
