Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to PasteNote (the "App"), developed by CoderChan (the "Developer"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, the Developer grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service.

Restrictions

You agree not to:

• reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, or attempt to derive its source code (except as expressly permitted by law);
• copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App;
• use the App for any unlawful or infringing activity or in violation of third-party rights;
• use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the App or related services.

Your Content and Data

• The App is designed to manage your own clipboard content and notes. You are solely responsible for all content processed through the App.
• By default, your data is stored only on your device; if you turn on iCloud sync, your data syncs across your own devices via your Apple ID. See the Privacy Policy for details.
• You are responsible for backing up your important data.

Sequential Paste

• Sequential Paste is optional. You must enable sequential mode for a folder, grant Input Monitoring, and explicitly start execution. Granting permission, opening Settings, or restarting the App does not start a sequence automatically. Restart the App after changing Input Monitoring permission; its displayed status may remain unchanged until restart. See System Permissions in the Privacy Policy for event processing and local diagnostic logging.
• You press Command-V yourself in the destination app. The App counts each complete press and release, prepares the next item after the configured count, and loops after the last item. It does not simulate paste keystrokes or confirm whether the destination app pasted successfully. Choose the destination and check the content yourself; pasting through a mouse action or menu does not advance the count.
• During execution, external copies are first handled under your privacy and recording rules, then the system clipboard is restored to the current queued item. Pausing history recording, hiding the floating window, or browsing history, favorites, or other folders does not stop Sequential Paste. Stop execution if you do not want further clipboard updates.
• “Stop Sequential Paste” retains the mode and temporary order. Once stopped, “End” exits the mode, clears its temporary order, and closes the floating window without deleting folders or items. When the window is hidden, use the folder menu to stop execution or disable the mode. Both stopping and ending leave the system clipboard as it is; neither restores its pre-sequence contents.
• Only one folder can use sequential mode at a time. Enabling it for another folder ends the previous mode. Temporary order, execution position, and counts do not persist across restarts. After restarting, re-enable the mode, check the order, and start manually.
• The destination app's clipboard-reading timing, content types, and file access can affect the actual paste result. Test with non-sensitive samples in the destination app before bulk use. Displayed counts and rounds are not proof that content was successfully submitted.

Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and intellectual property in and to the App and its content, features, and interface (excluding data you create) are owned by the Developer and protected by applicable law. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

Disclaimer

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The Developer does not warrant that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that it will meet your specific requirements.

The Developer is not liable for any loss or corruption of clipboard content or note data; please keep your own backups.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including loss of data or profits) arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App.

Third-Party Services

The App does not rely on any third-party online service to store your data. To generate link previews, the App may request publicly available information (such as title and thumbnail) from URLs you have copied.

Changes to These Terms

The Developer may revise these Terms from time to time. The revised "Effective Date" will be updated at the top and posted on this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Termination

The Developer may terminate the license granted to you at any time if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.
